In Queensland, all our sites at The Salvation Army Employment Plus are especially focussed on addressing local skill shortages by tailoring training and development programs for candidates.

For example, in a pioneering first the Queensland team has developed a partnership with the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE. Students have direct access to a range of on-campus employment services including career assessment and advice, and job vacancy and placement opportunities, linking directly with their training and qualifications.

The Queensland team has also developed an innovative partnership with the National Retailers Association (NRA).
